The photos at bobpaley.com are displayed as a dynamic presentation. Each part within the current topic (Peter Pryor, Wallace Rally, etc.) will play through without requiring any button-clicks to advance it.
However, the presentation is paced to present the material much like a television documentary and the pace does not allow time to read the text, newspaper articles and notes that are included. Please click the Pause button at the bottom of each screen to pause the slideshow whenever you wish to read the accompanying text or spend more time on any photograph.
Other ways in which you can affect the presentation are:

Click on the Hide Title button to hide the title banner and see more of the photograph; click Show Title to display it again.
- Click Text Off to hide the text display; click Text On to display it again. At times, a More Text button will appear; click on it to read the next segment of text.
- Click on any audio buttons (indicated by the yellow speaker icon) to hear interviews and oral histories. The slideshow will pause until the audio has finished playing. Click on the audio button again if you wish to stop the audio and continue playing the presentation.
To control the volume, click on the volume control button and the volume slider will appear. Pull the handle on the volume slider to adjust the volume.
Some newspaper clippings are "draggable" — you can move them around the screen to see the entire image. The draggable clippings are identified by a yellow notice. To move them, simply press and hold down your cursor over the image, and move your mouse while continuing to hold down the mouse button.
Technical Requirements
The photographs, microforms and audio are delivered in a dynamic multimedia format called Flash. In order to see and hear the content, you must have the Flash Player installed in your computer.
